Challenge: Food Banks Canada underwent a name change and renewal of its mission to reduce hunger in Canada. They required a new and re-energized brand identity that would be easily recognized by the public, social agencies and government, and help them increase nationwide awareness.

Comment: A strong and clear brand identity is achieved with spoon and fork symbols relating to the role of food banks. Orange and yellow provide fresh, uplifting and approachable appeal. The symbols overlap to suggest partnership and collaboration, and the space beneath the spoon and fork suggest shelter and support.
