Challenge: To cut through the cluttered “Lip Care” category with new products positioned to compete against “cosmetic” focused competitors while still communicating Polysporin’s renown therapeutic benefits.
Comment: New packaging graphics use a matte metallic gold partnered with bold variant colors to create a premium look and feel. A unique, rounded-edge diecut disrupts the shelf set and creates a powerful presence with consumers. An innovative dieline maintains valuable principal display area; products are visualized on the front panel but (contrary to the category) packed on the back to allow for more branding and design real estate. Trade and point-of-purchase materials complement with a consistent look and feel.
